As an Entrée Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and satisfying hot entrées while ensuring each meal meets our standards of taste, presentation, and safety. Position Summary

The Entrée Cook prepares food in accordance with federal, state, and company standards, following established policies and procedures. This role ensures quality food service is consistently provided while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

+ Prepares high-quality entrées and side dishes according to standardized recipes

+ Ensures food is correctly seasoned, visually appealing, and served at proper temperatures

+ Uses correct portioning to meet service standards and customer expectations

+ Tastes all prepared food items for quality assurance

+ Prepares meals for service or delivery according to production and delivery schedules

+ Follows established ticket and record-keeping procedures during service periods

+ Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment, workstations, and food storage areas

+ Stores or discards leftover food according to safe food-handling guidelines

+ Maintains organized refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms ensuring proper rotation and storage

+ Assists with ordering, receiving, and inventory control of food and supplies

+ Operates and maintains kitchen equipment safely and properly

+ Participates in production planning and required reporting

+ Reports maintenance needs or equipment malfunctions immediately

+ Attends in-service and safety meetings as required

+ Maintains positive working relationships with team members and guests

+ Performs all duties in compliance with safety standards to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment

+ Performs other duties as assigned

General Requirements:

+ Ability to lift 35 lbs+ regularly and stand for extended periods

+ Prior entrée or hot food preparation experience preferred

+ Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

+ Must pass a background check and drug screening

+ Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude
