    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative operations of service delivery for the assigned/designated service region for the SERV Connect and/or SERV Achievement company.  The Regional Director will supervise, coordinate and implement SERV’s treatment programs at the designated regional office.  The Regional Director will cooperate with the licensee and Department of Human Services staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation and will perform all other duties as deemed appropriate by the supervisor.  The Regional Director will cooperate with SERV and the Office of Licensing and in any investigation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Operational Functions

    + Ensure local adherence to corporate human resource policies and procedures.

    + Assist in developing, monitoring, and managing regional program budgets, including staffing, overtime control, and resource allocation.

    + Monitors and ensure revenue and expenses are kept within the confines of the current company fiscal budget and meet contractual requirements.

    + Implements, monitors and assures compliance with local and corporate quality improvement plans and investigations to ensure compliance with SERV’s performance standards and regulations.

    + Oversee and ensures that facilities and program operations adhere to local, state, and accreditation standards by conducting regular site visits.

    + Conduct random inspections of facilities, documentation, and client wellness and health.

    + Monitors and ensure that programs meet contract standards, affiliation agreements.

    + Ensure all supervisees are following through on assigned job tasks and visiting assigned facilities regularly.

    + Completes all monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports.

    + Provide support, supervision, and direction to regional management staff and clinical staff as assigned.

    + Conduct regular management meetings with regional and management staff to ensure accountability.

    + Provide feedback to individual local management staff on an as needed basis.

    + Conduct regular staff meetings with entire local staff.

    + Conduct, review, approve performance appraisals.

    + Complete assigned work within prescribed timeframes.

    + Ensure the programs maintain compliance with licensing, accreditation, and contract standards including those of DCF, DHS, DDD, DCF and CSOC as applicable.

    + Oversee regional program audits, corrective action plans, and incident management follow-up.

    + Development and Maintenance of New and Existing Programs and Services

    + Attend DHS/DDD/DCF meetings on a regular basis.

    + Participate in the development of new programs in assigned regions.

    + Collaboration with the SERV ATC (Access to Care) department to ensure timely admissions and optimal program capacity.

    + Engage with external partners including support coordinators, case managers, schools, families, and local municipalities to maintain strong community relationships.

    + Involved in all site review processes and licensing events including plans of corrections.

    + Assists Senior Director and COO in the preparation and development of all new programs.

    + Establish positive and active relationships with case managers, support coordinators, local governments and municipalities, law enforcement, families, and state oversight entities.

    + Ensure clients maintain Medicaid/Medicare eligibility, and general funding, under the fee for service system and its provisions.

    + Lead or assist with licensing reviews, site inspections, and the development of Plans of Correction.

    + Collaboration with Leadership

    + Works with senior management staff towards corporate goals.

    + Works with internal support departments such as quality and compliance, facilities, finance, training, human resources, IT, etc. to implement policies and procedures and ensure effective operation of assigned programs.

    + Assists with the initiation of clinical reviews via development of program policy and procedure.

    + Provides information and support to SERV’s grant writing efforts.

    + Participate in the new hire process of new staff.

    + Participate and meet the SERV Operational assigned goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

    + Master’s degree in behavioral health discipline from an accredited school required.

    + Clinical license (ex: BCBA, LCSW, LSW, etc.) preferred but not required.

    EXPERIENCE:

    + Minimum of seven years’ experience in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or human services with at least five years of progressive supervisory/administrative experience in residential settings supporting individuals who have IDD and behavioral challenges.

    + Valid driver’s license issued in the current state of residence.

    SKILLS:

    + Ability to work flexible hours to meet clients and organizational needs.

    + Strong leadership and organizational management skills.

    + Ability to develop, interpret, and apply policies, regulations and best practices.

    + Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

    + Possess effective verbal communication and collaboration skills.

    + Ability to operate a vehicle to transport clients and perform SERV administrative tasks.

    + Able to lift twenty-five to thirty pounds.

    + Able to bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, and reach.

    + Able to stand/walk four to six hours per shift.

    + Able to work at least an eight-hour day.

    + Able to communicate fluently in English.

    + Able to work with diverse populations and individuals with cognitive/intellectual disabilities.

    + Able to assist clients with personal care such as toileting, showering, dressing etc.

    + Proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems (EHRs) preferred.

    + Proficiency in computer skills and the utilization of Microsoft Office products required.

    + Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate information and maintain accurate records.

    + Ability to travel between regional program sites as needed.

    SALARY:

    + $99,042.72 per year.
