As a Lead Client Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management, maintenance, and support of critical client platform environments and associated testing laboratories within Ford Credit. Your role encompasses ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Windows client systems, facilitating robust testing processes, and providing advanced technical support.
What you’ll do…
This role is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining the Environmental Test Labs and Client Development Lab, ensuring their operational readiness for Windows Platform Updates, patch management, and various testing processes across Ford Credit environments. It also involves extensive software and application testing, including proof-of-concept and large-scale testing for operating system and system upgrades, alongside providing critical 3rd level client platform support. Furthermore, the position requires significant cross-functional collaboration, project management for larger initiatives, maintaining security for lab resources, and continuous development of subject matter expertise in technology infrastructure and information security.

You’ll Have…
+ 5 + years’ experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Expertise
+ 5+ years’ experience with Active Directory Users and Computers
+ 3 + years’ experience Operating System Deployment Methods and Troubleshooting
+ Application Testing Methods and Troubleshooting
+ PowerShell Scripting
+ Microsoft MFA Authentication (Multi-Factor Authentication)
