Security Systems Technician - Decatur, IL
Scope:
Proven subject matter expert with minimum 2 years of security experience. Has demonstrated the ability to execute projects and strategies independently.
Description:
The security systems technician can support the global security team in any core function, i.e., Asset Protection, Investigations, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). Possible duties can include:
Access Control
+ Creation of physical badges
+ Updating access control permission
+ Auditing access control permissions to identify permissions creep or gaps within principle of least privilege
Asset Protection
+ Assist with physical security audits
+ Monitor CCTV cameras for security concerns and regular camera auditing
Investigations
+ Assist Sr. Investigators in capturing CCTV footage
+ Assist Sr. Investigators in evidence gathering
Required Skills:
+ Analytical Problem Solving
+ Critical and Strategic Thinking
+ Effective and Timely Communication
+ Project Management
+ Ability to travel for site inspection, troubleshooting, and project implementations
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Desire to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ 5 years of relevant work experience, e.g., law enforcement, corporate security, military.
+ Or a combination of education and related work experience.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, SSCP, SEC+, or similar) are a plus

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$69,200.00 - $120,000.00
