Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is seeking a Tech 2, Packaging Engineering to join their team. As a Tech 2, Packaging Engineering, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting various engineering and testing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Tech 2, Packaging Engineering

**Location:** Vernon Hills, IL

Pay Range: $20/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

+ Support test lab daily activities, including equipment qualification and test method validation (TMV) development

+ Perform bench-level engineering tests for design verification, stability, feasibility, and test method development

+ Assist in equipment qualification (IQ, OQ) and support test request reviews for accuracy

+ Develop proficiency in environmental chamber supervision, aging program coordination, and equipment maintenance

+ Support lab engineering projects and ensure compliance with good documentation practices and safety standards

What's Needed?

+ Technical background with experience in laboratory testing and equipment qualification

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple tasks

+ Knowledge of environmental chambers, aging programs, and calibration processes

+ Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards in a laboratory setting
