As a **Security Officer - Tech Sector Screener** in **Madison, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification and/or credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while upholding site-specific protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and assisting first responders as needed.

+ Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities related to security-related matters.

+ Provide customer service in a professional manner and respond to inquiries while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

+ Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and policies specific to a technology and media environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Experience in loss prevention is preferred.

+ A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
