    Laboratory Technician – Care R&D Lab (Onsite, Charlotte, NC)

     

    Join a global innovation team shaping the future of home care technology. As an **Application Laboratory Technician** , you’ll be at the center of research and development for cutting-edge fabric and dish care products. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, data analysis, and seeing real results from their work.

     

    You’ll work side-by-side with development engineers to test and refine high-performance home appliances—helping deliver cleaner clothes, spotless dishes, and more sustainable solutions to consumers worldwide.

    Key Objectives

    + Conduct testing on washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers following industry standards.

    + Prepare and instrument products in line with established test protocols.

    + Order and manage testing materials such as detergents and test fabrics.

    + Collaborate closely with R&D engineers to improve cleaning and drying performance.

    + Collect, organize, and analyze test data for product evaluation and development.

    + Identify and communicate key findings and recommend performance improvements.

    + Prioritize and manage testing schedules to meet project timelines.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Execute and document product performance tests according to internal standards.

    + Record and format data electronically, primarily using MS Excel.

    + Maintain accuracy and organization in all testing records and data sheets.

    + Diagnose test issues and contribute creative solutions.

    + Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

    + Keep lab tools, fixtures, and supplies organized and in good working order.

    Position Requirements

    + Completion or active enrollment in an **associate degree program** in a **scientific, technical, or engineering-related field** .

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    + Hands-on experience with **laboratory equipment** , **testing methods** , and **data analysis** .

    + Strong proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** ; experience with **MATLAB** or **LabVIEW** is a plus.

    + Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    + Collaborative mindset and proactive approach to learning and improvement.

    Work Environment

    + Onsite in an R&D laboratory setting with varying temperature and humidity conditions.

    + Must be able to safely move and install appliances for testing using appropriate tools and equipment.

    **Pay Details:** $24.00 per hour
