Finance Operations Specialist
Memphis, TN (Onsite role)
Contract role
Pay Rate $24/HR.
Job Description
The Payment Operations Specialist is responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate processing of payments and deposits. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Initiate stop payments using bank software.
+ Enter voids into the claims management system.
+ Prepare and complete bank deposit tickets.
+ Endorse checks and mail them to the bank.
+ Make copies of checks for deposit and attach them to the appropriate forms.
+ Confirm check clearances with the bank for local offices.
+ Provide check copies to clients and local offices as needed.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
+ Strong time management skills with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
+ Excellent organizational and file management capabilities.
+ Effective email communication—clear, relevant, and timely.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
+ Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
+ Proficient in data analysis.
+ PC literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
+ Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
Technical Skills:
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
+ Conditional formatting
+ Charts and graphs
+ Logical and mathematical functions (IF statements, SUM, AVERAGE, etc.)
+ VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables

**Pay Details:** $24.00 per hour
