    Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find experienced and eager **assemblers** to join their growing team.

     

    The primary responsibility of an inspector is to ensure that products, materials, and processes meeting quality standards and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    + Visually inspect products, materials, and components

    + Test products using instruments like calipers, gauges, and micrometers

    + Measure products to ensure they meet specifications

    + Record findings and non-compliance issues

    + Recommend corrective actions to improve quality

    + Ensure corrective actions are implemented and that follow-up inspections are conducted

    + Report results to supervisors and other relevant parties

    + Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

    + Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.

    + Position or align components and parts.

    + Use hand tools to assemble parts.

    + Conduct quality control checks.

    + Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

    + Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

    + Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.

    + Verify specifications by measuring completed component.

    + Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    + Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels.

    + Document actions by completing production and quality forms.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Previous manufacturing experience

    + Mechanical and technical skills

    + Focus on quality control

     

    Pay rate for this position is $9.10 an hour.

    **Pay Details:** $9.10 per hour
