Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a **WAREHOUSE LEAD** in Stockton, CA. These **WAREHOUSE LEAD** jobs are full-time / temporary opportunities!
**WAREHOUSE LEAD:** Responsible for basic warehouse work. Must be comfortable with lifting, up to 50lbs. comfortable with material handling. Unloading and uploading. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!
Responsibilities for WAREHOUSE LEAD jobs include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Model and embed our core value to stay safe and put the health and well-being of our teams first.
• Responsible for hands-on training and providing guidance to all Production Associates.
• Responsible for ensuring the Production Associates accurately setup and operate all facility machines to ensure production needs are being met and keeping safety top of mind.
• Perform hourly continuous quality checks and audits on all facility machines. Must handle any discrepancies and assist in addressing any issues.
• Reports any issues and/or concerns to their direct supervisor.
• Load coils onto the uncoiler; weld the coil properly and safely.
• Prepare proper labels (i.e., Made in the USA, Haydon/Anvil, material profile) for production and ensure stamps are correct for the products needed.
• Cut, weld, and run material through machines.
• Troubleshoot and adjust all facility machines, as needed. If unable to troubleshoot within a reasonable amount of time, report issues to supervisor or maintenance immediately.
• Remove welded and unwelded strut from mill with a forklift then bundle, strap, and package.
• Perform roll changes.
• Assist with the Cutter and Die Changes.
• Ensure Haydon or Anvil labels are filled out correctly and placed on completed bundles. Will be required to audit and verify completed labels.
• Weld together completed strut pieces to create a reinforced strut.
• Assemble components to create parts for rooftops.
o Specific to California, will need to mold, create, paint, and assemble the actual h-blocks.
• Punch holes in strut for different requirements and/or specifications using our secondary press machines.
• Operate cutting equipment to make special order lengths of our regular style strut.
• Maintain cleanliness of area according to 5S principles to provide a safe and effective working space.
• Support and provide input for continuous improvement activities.
• Support with on-the-job training for other production associates.
• Support in all areas as needed and requested by supervisor or another member of the management team.
Skills and Experience:
• Commitment to safety and to adhere to all safety rules.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 Years manufacturing experience operating machines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure accuracy.
• Demonstrates ability to work in team, treat colleagues with respect and has a high level of accountability / punctuality.
• Proven record of strong attendance.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and rotate through all business functions as required by business needs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suites (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Must be able to read and write.
• Must be able to use measuring devices (micrometer, caliper, measuring tape, etc.)
• Ability to learn how to troubleshoot basic machine issues so that the associate can eventually independently troubleshoot the machines.
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards:
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to withstand repetitive movements such as bending and lifting.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25-50 lbs. and must be able to co-lift up to 50-100 lbs.
Certifications:
Will have the ability to advance at Haydon by moving up in our career ladder program. Tenure and certifications will be taken into consideration in determining the associate’s level. Each location will have certifications based on the machinery available at each site.

**Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour
