Inventory Associate – Mickleton, NJ
**Pay Rate:** $25.73 – $35.63 per hour
**Schedule:** 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Standard Hours; Overtime Required During Busy Season)
**Environment:** Cold Storage Facility (33º – 40ºF)
**Adecco** is hiring for an **Inventory Associate** in the Mickleton, NJ area! This role is key to maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring smooth warehouse and repack operations. Position Summary
The **Inventory Associate** is responsible for accurately tracking all packaging components used in warehouse and repack operations. This position ensures stock accuracy through audits, reconciliations, and precise recordkeeping. The role supports purchasing and production by maintaining optimal inventory levels and providing reliable data for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Inventory Management:** Physically manage and organize packaging and supply inventory within the facility, ensuring accurate tracking and storage.
+ **Receiving & ERP Processing:** Verify, receive, and sign for packaging and supply deliveries; enter all transactions into the ERP system for real-time visibility.
+ **Production Support:** Review daily production schedules and prepare packaging material lists for forklift operators to pre-stage in WIP (Work-In-Progress) areas.
+ **Returns & Reconciliation:** Ensure packaging components are returned to designated locations and accurately reflected in the ERP system.
+ **Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory:** Conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly/annual physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies and record ending inventory data.
+ **Collaboration & Accuracy:** Maintain up-to-date records; work with the Controller and Procurement Specialist to resolve discrepancies and implement adjustments.
+ **Material Transfers:** Execute ERP-based material transfers between warehouse and WIP areas as needed.
+ **Quality & Procurement Support:** Identify and report packaging quality issues; assist the Procurement Specialist with vendor communication and coordination.
+ **Adaptability:** Perform additional duties as needed to support warehouse operations.
Education & Experience Requirements
+ Minimum **2 years of inventory control experience**
+ Must be **biliterate in English and Spanish**
Competencies
+ **Mathematical & Inventory Skills:** Strong understanding of inventory principles and data accuracy.
+ **Forklift Operation:** Must be able to pass forklift certification and operate equipment safely.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); able to learn new ERP systems quickly.
+ **Bilingual Communication:** Clear and professional fluency in both English and Spanish.
+ **Work Ethic & Adaptability:** Energetic, flexible, and self-motivated; comfortable in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.
+ **Attention to Detail:** High level of accountability and accuracy in all tasks.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to stand for long periods and frequently use hands and fingers.
+ Must be able to lift up to **45 lbs** .
+ Ability to work in cold environments ( **33º – 40ºF** ).
+ Frequent speaking and listening required.
**Pay Details:** $25.73 to $35.63 per hour
