    ### Job Duties

    Join our dynamic team as a Converting Operator/Production Worker, where your contributions will play a vital role in our manufacturing process! You will be an integral part of our production line, ensuring that products meet high-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.     Observes safety rules and regulations.

     

    Selects proper log roll for given work order.

     

    Properly operates hoist and placement of log roll on cart.

     

    Sets up converting machines.

     

    Properly completes WIP paperwork from slitting to packaging.

     

    Properly tears down converting machines.

     

    Completes necessary documentation.

     

    Labels tubes and prints labels for respective products.

     

    As Primary Operator, trains employees assigned to this area, oversees qualification tests, modifies tests and procedures to reflect changes in operating methods, and supervises activities of untrained employees assigned to this area.

    Education and/or Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.

    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

     

    Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

     

    Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
