Job Title: Electrical Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for the electrical and mechanical assembly of electrical control panels and cabinets. The role involves performing machine wiring and assisting in machine troubleshooting and start-up as specified by electrical schematics, machine drawings, and engineering guidelines. The ideal candidate possesses strong electrical skills, mechanical aptitude, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and the motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble electrical control panels and cabinets.
+ Perform machine wiring and assist in troubleshooting and start-up according to electrical schematics and machine drawings.
+ Read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
+ Read and understand Bills of Materials.
+ Work with AC/DC control circuits and 3 PH motor control.
+ Utilize power and hand tools, fabrication machinery, pneumatic tools, and a multi-meter.
+ Follow verbal and written work instructions and blueprints.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 3+ years of hands-on experience in automated industrial control panel building and equipment wiring.
+ 3+ years of experience with power and hand tools, fabrication machinery, pneumatic tools, and using a multi-meter.
+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or general labor industry.
+ Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
+ Familiarity with electrical control system components (e.g., breakers, disconnect switches, relays, timers, safety circuits).
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
+ Experience in the conveyor industry is preferred.
+ General computer knowledge (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
+ Good general math skills.
