_Immediate Hirring For assembly technician_

We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team on the 1st and 2nd shift in Eldridge, IA. The role involves assembling various pre-fabricated parts according to customer specifications, utilizing both hand and power tools on a daily basis. This position requires close attention to detail and effective communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

+ Perform assembly operations and support production needs.

+ Pay close attention to detail in all tasks.

+ Read and interpret production drawings accurately.

+ Conduct inventory counts and inspections.

+ Ensure quality control and produce quality parts.

+ Follow company procedures and policies diligently.

+ Meet established time standards for production tasks.

+ Maintain adequate control, protection, and use of company assets.

+ Occasionally lift up to 75+ lbs.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret production drawings.

+ Attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with hand/power tools is a plus.

+ Experience in inventory count, inspection, and general labor.

Work Environment

The work environment is well-lit, clean, and updated, having moved to Eldridge in the last 15 years. Candidates will frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level can be loud at times, but the facility provides a family-like atmosphere. There is the opportunity to sit at a station and assemble parts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
