Job Title: Coatings Foreman

Job Description

Under minimal supervision, perform routine and preventative maintenance, industrial coatings duties, and a full range of specialized painting projects including painting large structures in corrosive environments. Perform site inspections, manage field teams, and operate various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot various equipment such as surface preparation tools, airless sprayers, conventional sprayers, and compressors.

+ Perform surface preparation using hand tools, pressure washers, and media blasters.

+ Utilize airless and conventional sprayers for painting projects.

+ Perform brushing and rolling techniques effectively.

+ Navigate scaffold, lifts, and staging with a willingness to learn if not experienced.

+ Operate boom lifts, fork trucks, and skid steers safely and efficiently.

+ Monitor atmospheric conditions to ensure proper application of coatings.

+ Maintain job site materials and supplies to ensure efficient project completion.

+ Adhere to safety standards and maintain good condition and organization of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

+ Promote and adhere to company values by leading by example and fostering an environment of trust and teamwork.

+ Participate in job-related training and development to improve skills.

+ Follow all company and safety policies, using all required personal protective equipment.

+ Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of industrial coatings experience.

+ Ability to lead a 2-6 person crew.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Ability to operate vehicles and equipment such as forklifts and hydraulic lifts at heights over 30 feet.

+ Capability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Strong organizational skills.

+ Ability to travel as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with industrial painting and coatings.

+ Experience in supervision or management roles.

Work Environment

You will be based out of the primary location in Poseyville, with frequent travel to customer job sites. This role involves working in a variety of industrial and commercial environments, requiring adaptability and adherence to safety standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Poseyville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
