    Snapshot of Your Day:

    We are looking for a **ManufacturingEngineer** in Charlotte,

    NC to handle the process of blading of gas turbine rotors following all company

    specifications, low speed balancing of gas turbine rotors following all company

    specifications, final machining and blade tipping of gas turbine rotors to

    prepare them for final assembly into the engine.

    How You’ll Make an Impact:

    + Support productionactivities by getting answers to process questions and working thruestablished processes to resolve product non-conformance issues.

    + Develop and delivertechnical information documents, estimates, reports or trainingdocumentation.

    + Deliver process ordesign definition and interpretation and assessment of specs andrequirements.

    + Partner with ServiceEngineering to provide inspection and repair reports for customers.

    + Identify and justifyprojects for improving manufacturing capability, yields, productivity, andcapacity.

    + Use of LeanPrinciples. Design, commission, and qualify custom tools, jigs, fixturesand tests, gage R&R as required.

    + Support engineeringdesign changes via involvement with the change management process for newproducts.

    What You Bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or arelated field and 5 years of experience.

    + Full term of experience must include: assembly andservice of large gas turbines;

    + Develop and deliver technical information documents,estimates, reports or training documentation;

    + Deliver process or design definition andinterpretation and assessment of specifications and requirements;

    + Lean Manufacturing principles;

    + Design, commission, and qualify custom tools, jigs,fixtures and tests, gage R&R;

    + 3D modeling experience with preferred software SiemensNX;

    + Gas turbine components with experience in at least oneof the following areas: Design, Manufacturing, Service or Repair.
