We are seeking a strategic and adaptable professional to join the Global Information Security (GIS) Cyber Resiliency Operational Planning and Testing Team. This role is focused on strengthening GIS’s ability to respond to and recover from disruptive events, including cyber incidents, natural disasters, and third-party failures, through robust planning, testing, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of operational resilience expertise, strong communication skills, and a mindset for modernization and process optimization.
Operational Resiliency & Planning
• Support and enhance GIS’s cyber resiliency strategies through the development, testing and execution of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) , Third-party exit strategies & Service Enabler Mapping
• Lead and coordinate Third-Party Exit Strategy resiliency exercises and simulations to validate response capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment on exit plans and recovery protocols.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate and current documentation of resiliency plans, testing outcomes, and response procedures.
• Provide clear and concise reporting to leadership on program status, gaps, and recommendations.
Crisis & Event Response Support
• Contribute to the design and execution of crisis response playbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during real-time events to support mitigation and recovery efforts.
• May be asked to actively supporting high-impact crisis response and reporting activities as needed.
Continuous Improvement & Modernization
• Identify opportunities to modernize resiliency practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance GIS’s overall resilience posture.
Project Leadership
• Lead or support project management activities related to resiliency planning, testing, and program enhancements
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in business continuity, operational resilience, or crisis management, preferably within cybersecurity or technology environments.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery and third-party risk management.
• Experience designing and executing resiliency exercises and simulations.
• Analytical thinker with a solution-oriented approach to complex challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and how they intersect with operational resilience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives forward in a dynamic environment.
