    Description

    We are hiring Desktop Support Technicians to assist with a 3 Stage office relocation effort.

     

    + 1st Phase

    + 1,000+ work stations need to be decommissioned and set up

    + *Cable management and testing of devices

    + 2nd Phase

    + Providing support with end of life builds. Going from 150 to 400 by end of the year.

    + Refreshes, Imaging and Rolling out of machines

    + They only have 1 current guy for asset management so will need to assist in inventory help as well.

    + 3rd Phase

    + Hardware wiping, decommissioning the site, tech garage sale with e-cyclers (purchasing of equipment in bulk)

    + Takes about 3-6 months to get comfortable with the systems they use. 2 total offices that you will be supporting.

    + Potential with this move to work a couple of weekends as OT.

    + Setting up and tearing down desktops.

    + Standard cable management.

    + Printer testing.

    + AV conf room assistance and testing.

    This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
