    Cleaning and Sanitation Professional Position Overview:

    PlanITROI is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cleaning & Sanitation Professional for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 90-day conversion period to ensure our manufacturing facility is kept clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a productive and healthy work environment by performing thorough cleaning, sanitation, and waste management in production areas, common spaces, and offices.

     

    Part-Time: 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing floors, production equipment exteriors, break room, restrooms, offices, and common areas.

    + Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces following facility cleaning protocols.

    + Remove trash, recycling, and production waste safely and promptly.

    + Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.

    + Replenish supplies (paper towels, soap, sanitizer, cleaning products, etc.) as needed.

    + Follow strict safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

    + Maintain cleaning logs and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and facility sanitation standards.

    + Collaborate with the production team to minimize disruption during cleaning activities.

    + Identify and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.

    + Manage deep cleaning projects and seasonal sanitation tasks.

    Qualifications

    + Previous experience in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing facility cleaning is needed.

    + Familiarity with sanitation protocols and safe chemical handling.

    + Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

    + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

    + Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods

     

    Work Environment

     

    + Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.

    + Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and masks.

    + Standing and walking for the shift; lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally.

    The expected salary for this position is $15.00-$16.00 per hour. Upon conversion, PlanITROI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and more.
