About the role
As a **Retail QA Manager** , you will make an impact by leading and executing testing strategies across retail systems and platforms. You will be a valued member of the **Quality Engineering & Assurance** team and work collaboratively with onsite client stakeholders and geographically distributed teams.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end testing for retail systems.
+ Collaborate directly with onsite client teams to gather requirements and define test scenarios.
+ Provide daily status updates and actively participate in client meetings and walkthroughs.
+ Manage defects through tracking, reporting, and resolution processes.
+ Support UAT testing with a focus on retail workflows.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring **4 days a week** in a client or Cognizant office in **Chesapeake, Virginia** .

What you need to have to be considered
+ Deep expertise in retail domain testing (e.g., retail operations, supply chain, digital, or merchandising).
+ Hands-on experience with functional testing for retail systems.
+ Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr.
+ Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
+ Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery models.
These will help you stand out
+ Hands-on experience testing retail applications such as RMS, WMS, POS.
+ Prior experience with Workday, Lawson Finance, or AS/400-based systems.
