    What to Expect:

    + The genetic counselor will work at St. Luke's Cancer Institute as part of a collaborative team of six genetic counselors.

    + This position will be the sole genetic counselor at the St. Luke's Cancer Institute in Nampa, Idaho where patients receive care from a compassionate team of medical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology specialists along with an on-site pharmacy, lab, and a wide range of supportive services.

    + The genetic counselor will evaluate patients for hereditary predisposition to cancer and benign hematologic conditions, providing genetic counseling and coordinating care for the patient and family.

    + The genetic counselor will serve as a resource to physicians, hospital staff, and patients/families at the Cancer Institute in Nampa.

    + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Education: Master's Degree

    + Experience: 0 years

    + Licenses/Certifications: Certified or Board eligible, licensure from the state of practice, or provisional license before hire date
