• Plant Control Engineer

    HTC Global Services Inc (Lima, OH)


    Description:

    + Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, review and follow up machinery project's and installations

    + Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems

    + Update program backups for machinery

    + Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems

    + Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements

    Skills Required:

    + Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls - Siemens and/or Indramat PL7

    + Electrical Background (electrician or technician) o Related experience o Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives

    + Familiarity with VFD’s, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls

    Skills Preferred: Experience Required:

    + 2+ years of related controls and debug experience.

    Experience Preferred:

    + Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery

    + ABB robot experience o Microsoft office including excel, powerpoint, word, etc.

    + Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics

    + Ability to read blueprints

    Education Required:

    + Bachelor's degree in engineering
