The Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics and Finance is seeking applicants for a Distinguished Lecturer in Finance starting Fall 2026, subject to final budget approval. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics and finance, advise and mentor students, and share responsibility for committee and department assignments. The contract of this position is subject to annual renewal, with the limit of a 7-year term and no possibility for extension after 7 years.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master in Economics, Finance or a closely related field required, PhD preferred. Demonstrated ability to teach successfully and to cooperate with colleagues for the good of the institution. Previous experience in the industry is required. Candidates must be able to teach and/or develop courses for the fully online program(s) in Finance at the Zicklin School, in addition to teaching in the in-person programs. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
COMPENSATION
$113,000- $127,345; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
