May spend a substantial portion of time performing the same duties as other staff in the department.

     

    Team Lead – Clinic RN

    Overview:

    We are seeking a **Team Lead Clinic RN** to assist the Practice Leader or Manager with the oversight of day-to-day clinic operations. This role organizes and directs activities within the work unit, assigns and monitors work of others, and ensures compliance with established procedures. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who can assess situations, exercise discretion and judgment, and act in the best interest of patients and customers. Please note: this position may involve performing many of the same duties as other clinical staff.

    Essential Functions:

    + Coordinate daily operations of the assigned unit.

    + Routinely perform day-to-day staff-level duties as needed.

    + Oversee clinical office functions, including daily quality control.

    + Communicate and collaborate with staff and customers to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.

    + Serve as a resource to patients, staff, and providers in the Manager/Practice Leader’s absence.

    + Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

    + Provide input into departmental goals, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

    + Monitor supplies, document charges/services, and oversee scheduling.

    + Assist in developing education programs and opportunities for staff growth.

    + Oversee acquisition and maintenance of office equipment.

    + Assist with payroll input and corrections.

    + Commit to continual learning and professional development.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.

    + **Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.**

    + In Grand Rapids: ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years.

    + Licensed as an RN in the State of Michigan.

    + Minimum **1 year of RN experience required** .

    + _New grads should apply to RN Residency (offered February, July, and October)._

    + Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice area.
