As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a highly visible presence throughout the campus. Your role will involve monitoring designated areas, supporting access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals you encounter. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout educational buildings and surrounding campus perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain authorized presence in designated areas.

+ Provide information and assistance to individuals on campus, helping to direct them and answer questions as needed.

+ Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols for fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical incidents at the education location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
