What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.

+ Monitor access to the building, verify identification, and assist with visitor registration to help to deter unauthorized entry at the commercial real estate location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as appropriate.

+ Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide information or directions as needed.

+ Communicate professionally with building staff, tenants, and guests to address inquiries and/or report concerns to the appropriate parties.

+ Document security-related activities and/or incidents clearly and accurately as required by site procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, including alerting relevant personnel and following evacuation or lockdown protocols when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
