    Verdantas is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I for our Holden, MA office.

     

    Help us keep our facilities in top shape! We’re seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Technician who takes pride in ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained outdoor areas. From routine upkeep to minor repairs, you’ll play a key role in preserving the quality and functionality of our grounds. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and making a visible difference every day, this is the opportunity for you.

    What You'll Do:

    + Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including snow plowing, mowing, spring and fall cleanup, and small-scale tree and brush work

    + Perform basic property maintenance tasks such as light carpentry and painting

    + Operate and maintain construction tools and grounds equipment

    + Assist the supervisor as needed with maintenance, cleaning, and repair tasks

    + Identify and resolve property needs

    + Follow safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment

    + Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed and materials used

    + Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

    What You Bring:

    + High school diploma preferred, but not required

    + Experience in landscaping, snow plowing, and general maintenance

    + Strong preference for snow plowing experience; additional compensation may be offered for candidates with proven plowing skills

    + Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently

    + Reliable and available for seasonal or weather-related work schedules

    + Strong work ethic and attention to detail

    Salary Range:

    $25.00/hour
