    Adecco Staffing is seeking an experienced **Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant** to join the prestigious law firm in their **Richmond, VA** office.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist attorneys in preparing for **meetings, depositions, hearings, mediations, trials, and client closings** .

    + Draft **correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses** , and other litigation-related documents.

    + Prepare **expert witness designations, motions, pre-trial scheduling orders, complaints, subpoenas** , and **subpoenas duces tecum** .

    + **Redact medical bills** and organize documentation for trial use.

    + **Schedule trial-related meetings** , track key case milestones, and **calendar court deadlines** .

    + File pleadings in **state and federal courts** , the **Court of Appeals** , and the **Virginia Supreme Court** .

    + Manage and audit **liens** (ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation).

    + Maintain and update information in a **case management system** .

    + Perform additional administrative or case-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Minimum **5 years of experience** as a **Personal Injury Plaintiff Paralegal or Legal Assistant** .

    + Experience conducting **client intake interviews** and managing **complex, high-volume cases** .

    + Strong understanding of **liens** associated with ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers’ Compensation.

    + Proficiency with **case management systems** and legal document preparation.

    + **Bilingual (Spanish/English)** preferred.

    + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Physical & Environmental Requirements

    + Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer throughout the day.

    + Manual dexterity for phone, keyboard, and standard office equipment use.

    + Regular interaction with clients and colleagues in a professional office setting.
