    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a growing company in Portsmouth, NH to find an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations independently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes

    + Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

    + Record journal entries and assist with month-end closing

    + Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial reporting

    + Process payroll and related tax filings (as needed)

    + Prepare and track invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports

    + Communicate with vendors and internal staff to resolve discrepancies

    + Assist with special accounting projects and audits as required

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

    + Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required

    + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills

    + Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
