    Job Title: Grinder Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated individuals for the positions of Grinder Operator on both 1st and 2nd shifts. This role involves working in a grinding booth to cut fiberglass flanges from RV parts, drill holes into fiberglass parts, and grind the flange from molds. It requires the use of a full respirator and suit due to the dusty environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Cut fiberglass flanges from RV parts.

    + Drill holes into fiberglass parts.

    + Grind flanges from molds using diamond cutters, drills, saws, and other air-powered tools.

    + Meet production goals by completing 80-90 parts per shift.

    + Remain stationary in the work cell 100% of the time.

    + Frequently lift fiberglass molds weighing up to 75 lbs.

    + Operate air-powered tools for extended periods.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with sanding, grinding, and related processes.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Ability to stand stationary for the entire shift.

    + Capability to lift 75 lbs.

    + Comfort wearing a respirator for the entire shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanically inclined with experience in auto body work.

    + Knowledge of using spray guns and conducting repairs.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a fiberglass plant that has a distinct fiberglass odor. The plant tends to be warm during the summer and cooler in the winter. Employees must wear a full respirator and suit while working due to the dusty conditions.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Paris, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
