    Entry-Level Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Focus ONSITE in Newton, Iowa

    What You’ll Do:

    + Respond to customer calls and emails promptly and professionally

    + Provide accurate information about products, services, and retail locations

    + Process orders and route inquiries to the appropriate departments

    + Verify insurance coverage, co-pays, and deductibles

    + Obtain pre-authorizations and submit documentation to insurance carriers

    + Navigate multiple EMR systems to retrieve and enter patient information

    + Communicate with patients regarding documentation and referral options

    + Collaborate with Customer Service and Management to identify insurance trends

    What We’re Looking For:

    Must-Have Skills:

    + 1+ year of customer service experience (retail, restaurant, or similar)

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    Preferred Experience:

    + Healthcare or insurance

    + Experience handling inbound calls

    + Familiarity with medical terminology (CNA or nursing home experience a plus)

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
