Performs duties in the areas of warehousing, moving, delivery and general maintenance.

Major/Essential Functions:
+ Primary responsibilities include assisting Central Warehouse staff with inventory counts, customer sales, stocking, and processing incoming inventory, including product verification and notifications. Additional duties involve handling campus deliveries in a University Vehicle as needed, supporting Central Warehouse services with the delivery of large equipment/ freight deliveries. The role also includes fulfilling over-the-counter requests and work order pick lists, as well as performing other tasks assigned by management to support the overall efficiency of the Central Warehouse.
+ Verifies materials against purchase orders and stores them in assigned locations. Ensures that Central Warehouse over-the-counter requests and work order pick lists are completed and proper billing information is submitted to purchasing department.
+ Supports equipment and freight deliveries to the Central Warehouse. Operate a forklift to load and unload material/equipment and move pallets around the warehouse.
+ Assist Central Warehouse by driving University vehicle to pick up up purchases from local vendors.
+ Adapt to new Central Warehouse technologies, including computers, software, and other electronic devices. Participate in training for Central Warehouse staff, Operations Division, or Texas Tech University.

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
+ Working knowledge of TMA.
+ Have the experience to provide customer service on the phone, or face to face
+ Experience operating a forklift
