\n The developers will focus on developing graphical user interfaces and dashboards, deploying and managing applications in an AWS cloud environment, integrating new functionality with established tools through tech transfer initiatives, automating key workflows, and integrating artificial intelligence (Al) and machine learning (ML) models into our workflows. The ideal candidate will be a versatile problem\-solver with a strong foundation in software development principles and a passion for building innovative solutions.<\/span><\/span>

\n Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span>

\n <\/div>\n

\n

+ Develop and maintain user\-friendly GUls and interactive dashboards. Design, deploy, and manage applications and infrastructure in AWS. Integrate new features and functionalities into existing tools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Collaborate with cross\-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Write clean, well\-documented, and testable code.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows to streamline processes.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Integrate Al\/ML models into existing systems to enhance functionality and improve decision\-making. Monitor and optimize automated workflows and Al\/ML model performance.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n <\/div>\n

\n

+ Languages: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Typescript (preferred)<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

+ GUI\/Dashboard: Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Experience building responsive and accessible web interfaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

+ AWS: Solid understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, 1AM, API Gateway, DynamoDB\/RDS). Experience with<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

+ Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

+ Automation\/Al: Proficiency in Python scripting for automation. Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Step Functions). Basic experience integrating Al\/ML models into applications.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

+ DevOps: Basic understanding of Cl\/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud security best practices. Tools: Git, testing frameworks (unit and integration testing).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

+ Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong analytical skills, and experience with Agile development methodologies.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

\n <\/div>\n

\n The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

\n

\n

+ Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing\-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real\-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Works individually or as part of a team.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Resolves software problem reports.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

+ Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware\/software trade­ offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off\-the\-shelf (COTS)\/Government Off\-the\-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level individual software components.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n

\n The Level 1 Software Engineer (SWE) shall possess the following capabilities: <\/span>

\n

\n

+ Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.<\/span>

+ Debug existing software and correct defects.<\/span>

+ Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.<\/span>

+ Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.<\/span>

+ Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.<\/span>

+ Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.<\/span>

+ Write or review software and system documentation.<\/span>

+ Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project.<\/span>

+ Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces\/queries.<\/span>

+ Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.<\/span>

+ Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.<\/span>

+ Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas.<\/span>

+ Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.<\/span>

+ Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>\n

\n

+ A current and active TS\/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required to be considered.

+ Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

+ A Bachelor\x27s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

+ Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor\x27s degree.<\/span><\/span>
