Job Posting: Elementary SPED Teacher – Appleton, WI

Position Type: Contract (through end of the school year)

Pay Rate: $45/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to support kindergarten and first-grade students in a cross-categorical setting. This role involves working collaboratively with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to provide inclusive and individualized instruction.

Key Details:

+ Caseload of 7 students (previously 11; 4 pending reassignment)

+ Services include both push-in and pull-out support

+ Collaboration with 3 paraprofessionals

+ Support across 2 kindergarten and 1 first-grade classrooms

Requirements:

+ Experience working with special education students

+ Valid Wisconsin DPI certification

+ Must pass background check and drug screening

+ Completion of required trainings
