The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of care for those patients/clients requiring social work intervention. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides counseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social or emotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required

+ Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required

+ Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking passionate and experienced Licensed Clinicians (LMFT or LCSW) for a 6-month contract in South Lake Tahoe, CA—with potential for extension! This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid role combining outpatient therapy and crisis support (non-mobile, located across the street at Barton Hospital).

+ $1,810 taxable income

+ $1,596 stipends

? Position Highlights:

+ Outpatient clinical work 4 days/week

+ Crisis support 1 day/week (non-mobile, across from main site)

+ 6-month contract to start – extension possible

+ Must be comfortable with snowy weather conditions

+ myAvatar EHR experience highly preferred

? Requirements:

+ Active LMFT or LCSW license in California

+ 2+ years of experience in behavioral health settings

+ Experience in acute care environments

+ BLS certification

+ CPI training (can be completed onsite during orientation)
