    Our Team is based out of our office in Burlington, Massachusetts, where we work in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remotely on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office.

     

    What You-ll Accomplish

     

    We are currently seeking Deductions Specialist to join our team, which is based out of our Burlington office. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Compliance and Deductions, our Deduction Specialist will ensure all deductions are communicated, approved, and processed in a timely manner. Specifically, this individual will:

     

    + Be responsible for the financial integrity of all non-trade spend deduction-related transactions, with a clear understanding of the impact on Sales, the balance sheet, and the P&L

    + Focused on investigating and gathering information to determine exposure and reverse or dispute invalid chargebacks

    + Complete trend analysis for root cause to identify cash flow opportunities and implement corrective actions and pursue collection of invalid items

    + Partner with other internal departments to provide financial insight on process gaps, opportunities, and specifically the impact of deductions on cash flow

    + Support our accounting team to audit, research, and resolve receivable deductions issues in a timely manner.

    + Contribute to special projects as assigned

    In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who possesses:

    + A bachelor-s degree in accounting or a related field

    + A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a deductions or credit-focused role

    + A demonstrable understanding of basic accounting principles

    + Proven analytical capabilities

    + Accuracy and attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

    + A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, specifically creating and using pivot tables and v-lookups

    + Experience working with HighRadius a plus

    The annual salary range for this position is $54,100 to $74,700, based on a full-time work schedule, anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational equity. Compensation may vary within that pay range depending on the selected candidate-s professional background, experience, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The full compensation details will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer and may include eligibility for participation in a bonus program.
