Job Description
You will architect and implement low-voltage DC electrical systems for mission-critical environments. Responsibilities include leading schematic design, performing advanced load calculations, and selecting components such as DC/DC converters and protective devices. You’ll ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and internal safety standards, drive testing and commissioning strategies, and collaborate with mechanical engineers and operations teams to integrate systems into modular data center deployments. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and contribute to Google’s AI-driven data capacity initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in low-voltage DC system design and testing.
• Strong expertise in electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/EPLAN and power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM).
• Extensive experience with DC power electronics and modular infrastructure.
• Ability to develop and execute complex design verification and compliance plans. • Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.
• Knowledge of SCADA and power management systems.
• Experience in containerized or modular data center environments.
• Exposure to Google’s AI-driven data capacity initiatives.
• Skills in EMC testing and worst-case circuit analysis.
