We are seeking a flexible and professional Physical Therapy Aide I to join our Inpatient Acute Care Therapy Team. Job Duties:

+ Assist in patient care under direct supervision of Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapist in hospital setting. Assisting with exercises, transfers and mobility.

+ Preparing therapy session equipment and organizing therapy gym space. Duties may include gathering mobility equipment, organizing patient room for safety during mobility, inspecting mobility equipment.

+ Cleaning Equipment and ensuring that equipment is in good working condition, organizing equipment inventory, and providing input to management on equipment replacement and additions as identified by need.

+ Assists in patient mobility by participating in the hospital wide Mobility Program

+ Embrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, active in staff meetings, seek continual learning opportunities to advance knowledge, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team.

Qualifications Include:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Comfortable working in a hospital setting

+ Safe Patient Handling Equipment

+ Experience in patient care or customer service is valued

+ Computer literacy (e.g. electronic health records in EPIC)

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Teamwork and professionalism
