    Overview

     

    HTC Global Services is seeking a Data Analyst – Asset Management to strengthen our client’s investment operations through advanced data analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Snowflake expertise with a deep understanding of asset management workflows to deliver insights that drive business and portfolio performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Analyze large, complex datasets from portfolio, trading, and operations systems using Snowflake and SQL.

    + Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to support investment analytics, risk reporting, and compliance dashboards.

    + Partner with investment, operations, and compliance teams to translate business questions into analytical deliverables.

    + Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that support investment decisions and regulatory requirements.

    + Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across data sources.

    + Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting within Snowflake to maintain efficient data models and queries.

    + Conduct ad hoc analysis to support front-office and middle-office initiatives.

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in the asset management or investment operations domain.

    + Advanced proficiency in Snowflake (data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning).

    + Strong SQL skills; ability to write and debug complex queries.

    + Working knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, portfolios, and common investment data structures.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and ETL tools.

    + Familiarity with regulatory reporting such as SEC filings or MiFID II.

    + Programming experience in Python or R for advanced analytics or automation.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work across investment, risk, and compliance functions.
