At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $18.40 – $27.60, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

Position Summary: Patient Access and Scheduler Assistant, 24-Hours Per Week, Evenings 3 pm to 11:30 pm. Every Other Weekend

The Patient Access and Scheduler Assistant supports the Inpatient Leadership in the areas related to staffing overview, daily staffing numbers and overtime management, throughout the inpatient areas of the hospital during his/her assigned hours. The Assistant collaborates with the unit-based managers to support adequate staffing levels based on best practice and industry standards. Position includes patient access activities and cross covers both the Patient access/Progression coordinator as well as the Central Staffing Coordinator.

EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required: High School Diploma, College degree or equivalent Clinical background preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel Ability to set priorities in dealing with multiple demands and interruptions Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal relationships, organizational skills and communication skills Working knowledge of medical terminology Ability to work as a team player, detail oriented
