    Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support, you will be part of the Operations Support team, contributing to the efficient management of data center logistics and inventory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support

     

    Sandston, VA

     

    6-18 Month Contract

    _Day Shift A: 10-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue) with 2 hours OT per week_

    **Pay Range:** $25

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform assigned tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving within the data center environment.

    + Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities.

    + Ensure accurate physical inventory tracking and staging, including conducting cycle audits and data corrections.

    + Assist in regulatory compliance activities and certification control audits related to data center operations.

    + Handle the destruction of data-bearing devices following documented procedures and runbooks.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment.

    + Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

    + Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred.

    + Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow detailed procedures.

    + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.
