•ABOUT WOODLAND JOB CORPS CENTER
The Woodland Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas:Electrical Wiring, Carpentry, Building Construction Technology, Culinary Arts, Advanced Training - Culinary Arts, and Hotel & Lodging.
We also assist students with job placement upon completion of their educational and career technical training.

•POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing overall management forfacility maintenance and transportation. Provides daily oversight andquality controlof all aspects offacility maintenance and transportation.
•Schedule:Monday to Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
•MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISION
Provides overallmanagement for facility maintenance and transportation drivers.
Manages, supervises, and trainsJob Corps’ students who are undergoing trades related tofacility maintenanceassigned to the department.
•️RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Follows allintegrity guidelinesand procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
+ Responsible for themanagement of facility maintenancethrough planning, budget control, staff training, scheduling, and evaluation.
+ Manages and assuresquality controlof all facility and equipment subcontract work performed on Center, including oversight ofNational Office/Facility Lessor(i.e., any 3rd party) projects as they impact Center Operations.
+ Coordinates withCenter ManagementinCTST project planning sessionsandCTST/Maintenance Meetingsto ensure that CTST construction activities meet companyquality control standards.
+ Develops, implements, and manages the Center’senergy conservation,preventative maintenance, andfacility management plans.
+ Develops, manages, and ensures effective implementation of acomputerized work order system, including timely corrective and preventative maintenance. Work order processing should be coordinated withCTT instructorsto obtain student involvement in this process.
+ Preparesscopes of workrequired for subcontracts, with commensuratepunch listsdeveloped and completed to ensure that contractor work meetslocal, company, and government standards.
+ Ensures all staff adhere torest and meal break requirements.
+ Fillsstaff vacanciesin a timely manner. Effectively motivates, empowers, and requires staff to perform their responsibilities. Employs soundtime-managementanddelegation skills.
+ Holds staff accountable for producingquality work, develops staff forcareer progression, and disciplines staff that fail to meet goals.
+ Providestraining and developmentfor new and current employees.
+ Creates asupportive work environment, recognizes staff accomplishments, and addresses performance concerns proactively.
+ Mentors, monitors, and modelstheCareer Success Standards (CSS)as required by the PRH.
+ Showsrespect and courtesyto students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.
+ Ensuresstudent needs are metand thatservice qualityis maintained. Pursuescontinuous improvementin all processes.
+ Communicates effectively — bothverbally and in writing— providing clear and timely information toDOL/Companywhen requested.
+ Identifies problems, analyzes causes, and evaluates appropriatesolutionsprior to taking or recommending actions.
+ Works incollaborationwith staff across all departments to ensureeffective supervision and servicesfor students.
+ Accepts direction and supervision from theCenter Director,Center Duty Officer, orShift Manager, including temporary assignments to other departments and positions.
+ Performsother duties as assigned.

Qualifications
•QUALIFICATIONS
+ High School Diploma or equivalentrequired.
+ Degree from anaccredited schoolortechnical certification preferred.
+ Three or more years ofexperience in a supervisory capacity.
+ Electrician, HVAC, and/or Plumbing license preferred.
Physical requirements:
+ Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching.
+ Demonstrates the ability tolift 40 poundsand/or the ability toassess the lift loadin order to ask for necessary assistance.
