    Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing advanced imaging techniques such as SPECT/CT and PET/CT for clinical trial research, with a focus on maintaining high safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging for clinical trial research.

    + Order, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for clinical trial participants.

    + Conduct Quality Control assessments on SPECT/CT and PET/CT systems and nuclear medicine instrumentation, such as dose calibrators.

    + Ensure adherence to safety standards and accurately record the usage and handling of radioactive materials in compliance with Nuclear Regulatory requirements.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Completion of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.

    + Registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

    + Experience in performing SPECT/CT and PET/CT studies, preferably in a research setting.

    + Ability to perform instrumentation and quality control, with knowledge of radiation safety.

    + Effective communication skills to collaborate within multi-disciplinary team settings.

    + Self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience working with patients affected by neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease.

    + Experience working with Investigational New Drug (IND) PET research agents.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    + Proven track record of producing high-quality research imaging with minimal supervision.

    + Solid understanding of clinical research, GCP, GDP, and other regulations.

    + Strong leadership, management, and training skills.

    The work environment is primarily in a laboratory setting. The role involves working with advanced imaging technologies and requires adherence to safety standards and protocols. This is a permanent position based out of New Haven, Connecticut.

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
