Job Title: QCM/SSHO
Job Description
We are seeking a versatile QCM/SSHO professional to oversee an $8.5 million renovation of a VA hospital. This role involves managing operations across two floors within the hospital, with a strong emphasis on quality control and safety. Experience in Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) is highly valuable.
Responsibilities
+ Manage subcontractors and collaborate with government customers daily, focusing on quality control and safety.
+ Plan, assign, and direct work according to the project's scope.
+ Inspect work in progress to ensure it meets quality standards and applicable codes.
+ Manage scheduling and ensure the successful completion of the commissioning of newly installed systems.
+ Review project specifications and oversee the hiring and termination of subcontractors as necessary.
+ Develop Quality Control and Health & Safety procedures for federal projects.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in quality control, federal construction, and managing construction projects.
+ OSHA30 certification is required.
+ EM385-1-1 certification is required.
+ 5-8 years of previous federal construction experience.
+ Must have US citizenship
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ QCM Certification is required.
+ Experience with construction double hat roles (SSHO/Super or SSHO/QCM) is desirable.

The work will be conducted at the VA hospital in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves working within a hospital setting, requiring adherence to strict safety and quality standards
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $55.28/hr.
