    Job Title: Maintenance Group Leader

    Job Description

    As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a small to medium-sized team of maintenance employees. Your primary role will involve managing the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities, ensuring alignment with standard maintenance systems. You will play a crucial role in decision-making based on established procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results.

    + Recommend solutions to problems.

    + Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.

    + Meet schedule and quality requirements.

    + Comply with the terms of local and national labor agreements.

    + Implement divisional and corporate policies, as well as safety and good housekeeping practices.

    + Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group.

    + Ensure the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment.

    + Establish a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project.

    + Implement GMS principles.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in maintenance supervision.

    + Maintenance technician skills.

    + Troubleshooting capabilities.

    + Electrical and mechanical expertise.

    + At least 2 years of experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma.

    + Experience in maintenance management.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is set in an automotive manufacturing environment. The position operates on a rotating shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with shifts that may rotate through weekends. Shift times are 1st: 7am-3:30pm, 2nd: 3pm-11:30pm, and 3rd: 11:00pm-7:30am. Think of this role as a full-time substitute teacher, filling in when and where needed.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Bedford, IN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
