    Job Title: CNC Programmer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer who will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Lathe machines using MasterCAM software. You will follow the router plan and work closely with the manufacturing team to implement any necessary changes. Your role will include maximizing machine utilization and ensuring precision in machining processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Program, setup, and operate Lathe machines using MasterCAM software.

    + Ensure maximization of machine utilization and unattended time.

    + Fill out inspection paperwork and verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.

    + Report all errors and out of tolerance deviations to the Manufacturing Job Leader.

    + Maintain the production schedule and monitor tool inventory.

    + Provide training and motivation to team members.

    + Perform general maintenance and ensure cleanliness of the work area.

    + Assist the Manufacturing Engineer/Job Leader in planning out routers when needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC programming and machining.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with Lathe machines and live tooling programming.

    + Proficiency in using Mastercam, Solidworks, M code, and G code.

    + Ability to read and understand quality manuals and procedures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to travel when required.

    + Ability to work mandatory overtime if needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Petersburg, FL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
