Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry? A medical office in Roseville is seeking a Temp-to-Hire Medical Records Specialist to join their team!

Responsibilities:

+ Manage and maintain detailed medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

+ Process requests for patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

+ Input and update patient information in the electronic health records (EHR) system.

+ Perform quality checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of all records.

+ Collaborate with healthcare providers to retrieve necessary documentation and address discrepancies.

+ Provide customer service support to patients inquiring about their medical records.

+ Assist with administrative duties as needed, such as filing, scanning, and organizing records.

Requirements

+ Proven experience in medical records or healthcare administration (minimum 2 years preferred).

+ Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, especially Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.

+ Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.

+ Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.

+ Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
