Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Salinas, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting the accounting department and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting practices and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and manage accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.

• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries related to accounting processes.

• Assist with general accounting tasks and administrative duties within the office.

• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.

• Support various financial and administrative projects as assigned. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounting or administrative roles.

• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
