Description

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our client's team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with reporting requirements. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to grow their expertise within a supportive and development-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed audits and reviews of union reporting data to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare and file local and quarterly tax returns promptly.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Provide assistance with year-end processes, including reporting and compliance.

• Collaborate with the team on various ad-hoc projects as needed.

• Adapt to shifting priorities and tasks to meet organizational needs.

• Support payroll operations during system updates or transitions.

• Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.

Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in auditing and reporting.

• Familiarity with tax filing procedures and union reporting requirements.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and financial record management.
