Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Power Systems Product Support Manager to be based at our Joule Data Center in Millard County, UT. This role is responsible for directly managing all aspects of Power Systems Product Support, ensuring operations align with both Caterpillar and Wheeler Machinery standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will be focused on delivering exceptional equipment availability, by minimizing downtime caused by unplanned outage, and creating a world **-** class customer experience through strong communication, strategic coordination, and effective management of all product support activities. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about customer success, and is committed to excellence in service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Accountable for delivering a ZERO recordable accident workplace environment.
+ Effectively drive culture alignment which results in a Belief Behavior Experience mindset.
+ Accountable for the overall performance of all site service technicians including but not limited to the achievement of; SAFETY, and financial performance (revenue, profit, Return on Assets, and expense budgets) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
+ Accountable for delivering required physical equipment availability, customer satisfaction, and growth targets.
+ Maintain strong customer relations and satisfaction. Proactively and diligently work to ensure customer problems are resolved quickly.
+ Direct and guide employees towards the achievement of Caterpillar and Wheeler Machinery goals and objectives.
+ Work closely with PSD sales team and project management team to ensure seamless transition from commissioning to full site operation
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ High School graduate, Undergraduate degree preferred.
+ 5 years minimum industry experience.
+ Ability to approach life and leadership with SAFETY and DMGB (Doesn’t Matter Get Better) mindset to project that attitude and effort both inside and outside the company.
+ Possess strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrate effective follow-up skills to ensure that commitments made to colleagues, customers, and partners are tracked and completed in a timely manner
+ General knowledge of Electric Power Product Support activities required to support the operation of that equipment.
+ Overall knowledge of successful business practices as well as strong customer service skills and business acumen.
+ Possess leadership attributes that will influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach and deliver a World Class experience.
+ Willingness to take disciplined risks and able to balance that risk with associated rewards which can be garnered accordingly.
+ Able to set priorities appropriate for short and long-term objectives all while maintaining integrity and upstanding character.
